Visitor Anomaly Field Guide

The field guide is organized by evidence channel because appearance is the least reliable shortcut. Current sources overlap on thirteen visitor records strongly enough to publish a cautious working check. Other records remain unknown or disputed.

Room-state checks

These visitors make claims you can test inside the house:

• Cat Lady: check the cat in the parents’ bedroom. The guides describe a color mismatch as the warning.
• Firefighter: inspect the oven for the claimed smoke or fire.
• City Maintenance: check whether the kitchen sink matches the water claim.

The room state is the evidence. A uniform, friendly face, or urgent tone does not replace the walk.

Camera and night-vision checks

• Secret Agent or FBI Agent: compare normal CCTV with night vision. Both guides report an alien form under the altered view.
• Dog Owner: inspect the backyard camera for the reported dog or a person acting in its place.
• Dumped Girl: the camera expression is the reported tell.
• Lost Girl: compare apparent size on the camera view.
• Homeless Man: current guides report that the anomalous version does not appear on camera.

Audio checks

• Wifi Kid: listen through the camera for repeated tapping or shutter-like interference.
• Classmate: let the line continue long enough to hear whether the voice shifts unnaturally.
• Party Girl: listen for a distorted or artificial echo.
• Gym Bro: the reported warning is an unusually high-pitched voice.

Audio checks fail when the player decides after the first few words. Let the line finish.

Immediate reject record

Both guides treat the Vampire as a visitor you should not invite inside. The tracker presents this as a source-backed reported rule, not as a probability.

Records that are not settled

Next Door Neighbour, Old Man, and Drunk Girl lacked confirmed tells in the July 24 visitor guide. The Ballerina record conflicts between current guides. Those names are displayed as unknown or disputed in the tracker.

Do not convert “unknown” into “probably safe.” Run the full camera check order, preserve your Sanity, and recheck after a game update.

Act on evidence

When the reported warning is present, use the porch light switch. When the required channel has been completed and no warning is observed, the guides describe opening the door for the ordinary visitor. The field guide cannot inspect your live game, so the final observation remains yours.
